The Greenbrier East High School Marching Band competed during the fall 2021 marching season and placed first as the Class C State Champions with their show “The Dark Side of Oz.” The show included music from Pink Floyd along with music from the original “Wizard of Oz” soundtrack.
The spring 2021-2022 band season is now upon us, and students are preparing for Music in the Parks band competition at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. Over 50 band students will be traveling to compete with bands from all over the east coast. In order to make the trip, the students are conducting a fundraiser raffle with many great prizes.
“A Prize A Day for the Month of May” is supported by numerous local businesses and individuals who have been very generous.
