Greenbrier East Volleyball Camp is scheduled for June 13, 14, 15 and 16 from 5:30-7:45 p.m.

The camp will be held in the Greenbrier East High School gyms and is for upcoming third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders.

The camp will be run by Greenbrier East High School coaches and players. Sauvage is going into his 20th year coaching, 17th year as head coach. Coach Taelor Curry is going into her sixth year with Greenbrier East volleyball.

In the past 17 years East volleyball has accomplished the following: four sectional titles, regional competition 15 years, two regional titles, three state tournament appearances and a state runner-up finish. The 2022 campaign of East Volleyball was a very successful finishing with 40-16 record.

In those 20 years individual players have the following accomplishments: 1st Team All-State 17 players; 2nd Team All-State, 11 players; Special Honorable Mention, 13 players; and Honorable Mention All-State, six players. Twenty-seven players have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

These camps will help the players develop their entire game. All skills will be touched upon in both individual and team situations. The campers will learn and develop better skills in passing, hitting, serving and setting. The primary focus will be fundamentals, with advanced skill development. Campers will receive individual instruction many times throughout the camps. The campers will work very hard but will also have a lot of fun.

Things to bring: water bottle, knee pads, court shoes, active attire, and a great attitude.
