The Alderson Quilters and Crafters Guild presented Quilts of Valor to eight local veterans of the United States armed services on Thursday, in two separate ceremonies held at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in Lewisburg. Since its inception in 2003, the national Quilts of Valor program has presented 286,178 quilts to veterans.
