Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan provides the following statement regarding Jeremiah Bleu Powell:
“On Thursday, September 23, 2021, a preliminary hearing was held in Greenbrier County Magistrate Court for Jeremiah Bleu Powell, age 39, of Marlinton, WV. Mr. Powell had been charged with two (2) counts of 1st degree murder in connection with the deaths of Joseph (Danny) and Daisy Foster that occurred at their residence on Fullen Cemetery Road on Thursday, April 02, 2020.
The preliminary hearing resulted in a probable cause finding and the case was bound over to the next term of the Greenbrier County Grand Jury.
