Lewisburg, W.Va (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall invites creative spirits of all ages to step into the mysterious world of Collage Noir, a Halloween‑themed collage workshop led by regional artist Susanna Robinson on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This imaginative, hands‑on session encourages participants to embrace the spooky season through paint, paper, texture, and found objects.
In this playful and atmospheric workshop, students will paint, cut, layer, and combine colorful papers, vintage images, textured materials, and curious objects to create their own one‑of‑a‑kind Halloween artwork. No artistic experience is required—just a love for the mysterious and macabre and a willingness to explore new creative techniques. All supplies and materials are included, and the class welcomes learners ages 12 and older.
With a maximum class size of 13, Collage Noir offers a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can experiment freely and enjoy personalized guidance. The workshop fee is $13 per person, making it an accessible and inspiring way to celebrate the season.
Collage Noir is part of Carnegie Hall’s Classes & Workshops series, which provides enriching small‑group arts experiences designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and community connection throughout the year.
Carnegie Hall programs are presented with financial assistance through a grant from the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
