Randy Sims, music director at Greenbrier West High School, accepts an acoustic / electric bass guitar from Gary Wyatt in memory of his brother John Wyatt.

Throughout southern West Virginia, John was fondly known as “The Appalachian,” writing and singing songs and spinning yarns about his youth on Sewell Mountain. The bass will be used for students interested in learning how to play.
