CLIFFVIEW- Greenbrier East picked up a victory over Alleghany during a nine-hole match Tuesday at Cliffview Golf Course, with the Spartans posting a team score of 152.
Isaac Hutchison led the way for Greenbrier East with a round of 36, followed by Seth Napier with a 37 and Evan Clinebell with a 38. Sam Roshau added a 41, while Eli McMillion and Jake Hutchison each finished with a 43.
Alleghany scored a total of 191 and was led by Jagger Rowland with a 47, followed by Gavin Randozzo at 48 and Jaxon Deem at 46. Sophie Knighton rounded out Alleghany’s top four with a 53. Greenbrier East’s four counting scores gave the Spartans the team victory, continuing a strong start to the season.
