LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Greenbrier County Schools is pleased to announce a FREE Special Needs Resource Fair designed to connect families of children with special needs to valuable services, support programs, and community resources.
The event will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Greenbrier County Schools Board Office, 430 Academic Drive, Lewisburg, WV.
Families attending the Resource Fair will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from a variety of organizations that provide educational, healthcare, behavioral, and family support services. Participating vendors include Accentra Health, CSED, Seneca Mental Health, Aetna, DRS, and many additional community partners.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about programs and services available in our area,” said event organizer Adena Okes-Hawkins. “By bringing together local providers and support organizations, we hope to help families access the resources they need to help their children thrive and reach their full potential.”
The Resource Fair is open to all families, caregivers, educators, and community members interested in learning more about services available for children with special needs. Attendees will be able to gather information, ask questions, and build connections with organizations dedicated to helping children and families succeed.
