Hinton — The City of Hinton has asked that no foot traffic or vehicles enter the construction area at Bellepoint River Access.
The Summers County Library is holding a walking book club beginning on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at Bellepoint Park.

Ronceverte — The Ronceverte Library has made the decision to cancel the Arts in the Park event.

Renick — The American Sign Language class that was set to begin on Sept. 14 at the Renick Community Center has been canceled. In addition, there will be no Music Jam in Sept.

Lewisburg — The Greenbrier County Public Library has made the decision to cancel the annual used book sale.

Alderson — The town of Alderson is a finalist in WVLiving’s “Best of West Virginia” contest. The town is included in four separate categories. Voting is now in progress and lasts until Oct. 3. To vote for Alderson, go to www.wvliving.com/best-of-west-virginia
Alderson Main Street is holding a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at Fruits of Labor.

Marlinton — The Marlinton Town Council held a meeting on Monday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Zoom information is available on the town’s Facebook page.

White Sulphur Springs — The City Council held a meeting on Monday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Seating was limited and all in attendance were required to wear a mask.
