Raleigh County Schools has now issued a statement that wearing face masks will be mandatory inside all school buildings.
According to Raleigh County Schools Superintendent David Price, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 9, individuals inside all indoor facilities in Raleigh County Schools should start wearing their masks. Special medical exclusions will be considered.
He noted that Raleigh County Schools will continue to follow the guidance of local health officials, including the Raleigh County Health Department, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
