The Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center welcomes September with an evening of eclectic art and music. The Art in the Valley series presents a gallery exhibit by local artists Tenley Shewmake and Bob Hoffa. This creative duo’s show titled “From Cotton to Copper: A Continuum of Elegance” features a “marriage of proportion, balance and function in materials from soft flexible Cotton to cold rigid Copper.” The Art Alcove highlights the unique artwork of well-known local artist, writer, and vocalist, Susanna Robinson. Susanna’s show “All These Ladies, Quite Bewitching” includes a bevy of collage portraits reflecting a true Art Nouveau influence. Stop in to meet all of the artists and learn about their creative process. Live music throughout the evening will be provided by G.R.O.U.P. (Greenbrier River Optimistic Ukulele Players) and George, Jim and Bob, better known as The Rust Brothers.
