New River CTC Foundation Opens Scholarship Applications for 2026-2027 Academic Year

BEAVER, W.Va. (WVDN) – The New River Community and Technical College Foundation has officially opened its scholarship application period for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering students across southern West Virginia an opportunity to access more than $125,000 in scholarship funding.

Scholarships are available to new and current students, as well as graduating high school seniors. Funds will be awarded for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

Students who plan to attend classes at one of New River CTC’s campus locations, including Greenbrier Valley, Mercer County, Nicholas County, Raleigh County, or the Advanced Technology Center in Ghent, are encouraged to apply.

Some scholarships may include specific eligibility criteria such as residency requirements or additional application materials. Full details are outlined within each scholarship description on the application portal.

The application deadline is April 17, 2026.
