Letart, W.Va. (WVDN) — On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Trooper First Class Stewart responded to reports of a tractor-trailer crash near the 1200 block of Graham Station Road, in the Letart area of Mason County.

The investigation showed that Dennis Busman, 50, of Troy, WV, was operating a Semi Truck and Trailer Northbound on Graham Station Road. As Mr. Busman entered a right-hand turn, he was unable to negotiate the turn and went through the left guardrail, over an embankment, and rolled the vehicle onto its top in the river overflow.

Mr. Busman was entrapped inside the vehicle and was ultimately extricated by the Fire Department. Once extricated, Mr. Busman was flown to CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, where he was treated for broken ribs.

Mr. Busman was charged with Failure to Maintain Control.

WV DOT will further inspect the Tractor Trailer.

This investigation is still ongoing.
