ALDERSON W.Va. (WVDN) – Alderson Main Street will be celebrating French, the Alderson lion, on Saturday, March 28, at noon at the Historic 1896 C&O Depot in Alderson. Please wear your “Keep your lion on a leash” t-shirt or sweatshirt and gather at the depot for a group photo. Designed by Cheryl Mansley for AMS, these shirts were extremely popular as Christmas gifts and just to show Alderson spirit. For those without a shirt who want to participate, shirts are available at the Alderson Artisan Gallery, which is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10-5. This opportunity is for anyone with a shirt, not just AMS members.

Organizers said, “Join us and raise a cheer for French!”
