LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint dating back to Dec. 20, 2025, and ending on March 3, a trooper was dispatched by Greenbrier County 911 to the vicinity of the Lewisburg Shoe Show. The call was in regard to a theft complaint. The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the victim.

The victim reportedly told the trooper she received notification through her bank that her debit card had been used at Shoe Show in Lewisburg and Go Mart in Rainelle. She went on to say she didn’t know she had lost her debit card until being notified, but thought it might have been around Dec. 15, 2025, at the Department of Motor Vehicles, as that’s the last place she remembered having and using her card.

The trooper spoke with the Shoe Show manager and found out they don’t have video surveillance cameras, but she remembered the transaction and one of the individuals. She explained who that person was, but noted she didn’t know the one who was using the card. The manager reportedly said they first tried to use the card as a debit card, but didn’t have the PIN, so they ran it as a credit transaction for a pair of Nike shoes.

On Jan. 10, the trooper went to the Rainelle Go Mart to review their surveillance footage. The person shown on the footage was then identified as Brandon Mann. The video footage reportedly shows Mann enter the store in a black hoodie and gray sweatpants and purchase a Coke, allegedly with the stolen card. According to the criminal complaint, Mann then attempted a money transfer of $400, but it was declined.

On March 3, Mann was arrested. At the time of publishing, Mann is no longer listed as an inmate at Southern Regional Jail.

The information in this article is based on public records and court documents. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
