Herman Lee “Hank” Harless

Herman Lee “Hank” Harless, age 76, of Renick, WV, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

Born August 1, 1949, in Renick, he was the beloved son of the late John Burton and Clara McCoy Harless. Hank attended the Lewisburg Pentecostal Holiness Church and faithfully served his community through more than fifty years of dedicated employment at Perkins Dairy.

In addition to his parents, Hank was preceded in death by his cherished sister, Rita Bostic (Jesse). He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, Melvin Harless, Herbert Harless (Drema), and John Dudley Harless; sisters, Bonnie Burks (David Jr.), Anna Mae Bowles, and Betty Barman (Bryan); special nephews, Tommy and Ricky Burks; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. His legacy of faith, kindness, and steadfastness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with Hank’s wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of his life and Christian faith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Lewisburg Community Pentecostal Holiness Church, Brush Road, Lewisburg, with Pastor Hat Defibaugh and Pastor Otis Lewis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church, Saturday.  Hank’s earthly remains will be laid to rest in the blessed assurance of the resurrection at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Brushy Flats Road, Renick, beside his dear parents.

Friends and loved ones are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.morganfh.net.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV. May the peace of Christ be with all who mourn his passing.
