GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint, on Dec. 6, at around 10 p.m., an officer received a call from a fellow officer regarding indecent exposure and intoxication. The incident reportedly took place at a local gas station.
According to the criminal complaint, the officer advised the responding unit that the incident had taken place when he was on a prisoner transport and stopped for fuel. The witnessing officer advised Greenbrier County 911 and requested a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) on a gray Toyota. Not long afterward, the responding officer reportedly said he believed he had located the vehicle at a different gas station.
The officer detained both males. The officer said the driver of the Toyota made an attempt to go into the gas station but was barely able to walk, was falling to the ground, and was very unsteady, the complaint states. With a suspected DUI, a tow truck was requested for the Toyota.
The officer then returned to the first gas station to get statements. At this time, the officer was able to identify the victims. The victim made contact with the officer and allegedly said that one male, the driver, went straight into the gas station restroom. The passenger, identified as Jedediah Turner, reportedly walked shirtless across the parking lot towards the store. The victim allegedly said Turner then pulled his genitalia out of his sweatpants in full sight of the victim’s young child. The child was in the vehicle, seated beside the adult victim.
The victim confronted Turner in the store in front of the clerk, and verbal threats were allegedly exchanged.
The officer then went back to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, where both subjects were being processed. Another officer reportedly noted that during processing, Eli Pritt, who was identified as the driver, said he was aware that Turner had exposed himself in the parking lot toward the vehicle that the child was in, according to the criminal complaint. Both subjects were arrested and transported to Southern Regional Jail pending charges.
At the time of publishing, Turner is in Southern Regional Jail with bail set at $5,000, and Pritt is not listed as an inmate.
