CALDWELL W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint, on Nov. 14, at around 12:21, an officer was dispatched by Greenbrier County 911 to a reported breaking and entering in the vicinity of Caldwell. While traveling to the scene, the officer was advised that one male subject was trapped inside the building by employees and another was running off through the woods. When the officer got to the scene, he reportedly started watching the area between the business and Route 60.
Another officer arrived on scene and started talking to an employee located at the edge of the woods in question. A little later, yet another officer arrived and detained the male subject in the building, identified as Wesley Holliday.
The officer who had arrived on scene was able to identify the other male subject by looking at photos on game cameras being used for security purposes, according to the complaint. He was identified as Travis Hinkle. Hinkle is reportedly known to go around with Holliday. After a search for Hinkle turned up no contact, it was determined he had gotten away before the arrival of law enforcement.
Holliday was taken to the Lewisburg detachment of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department for processing and the Greenbrier County Magistrate for arraignment.
At the time of publishing, Holliday is incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000.
