CALDWELL W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint, in October, an officer was dispatched through Greenbrier County 911 to a complaint of theft. The call was in the vicinity of Caldwell. When the officer arrived at the home, the caller reportedly stated that the accused, later identified as Jessica Flack, was helping with a move when she stole the victim’s keys to her vehicle, which was a 2010 Ford Edge.

The victim allegedly attempted to contact Flack to get her keys back, but was unsuccessful. According to the criminal complaint, the victim had Flack’s mother try to get the keys back, also.

The complaint states that Flack returned to the residence the next morning, saying she had the keys to the storage building. The victim reportedly said the key to the storage building was on her key ring and that Flack couldn’t have a key.

Allegedly, the key to the victim’s car has a chip in it and will cost approximately $200-$500 to get and reprogram a new key. The vehicle will also need to be towed to the dealership to have the key programmed. Flack left in an unknown vehicle prior to the officer’s arrival.
