BECKLEY W.Va. (WVDN) – Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) has broken ground on its newest outpatient center.
Local leaders joined CAMC doctors and hospital administration at the construction site for a short ceremony, Oct. 27.
When it opens in 2027, the 24,000 square foot facility will offer convenient access to medical specialists and other services in one location.
On the first floor there will be: registration, imaging (such as ultrasound and X-ray and eventually MRI and CT), retail pharmacy and lab.
On the second floor will be: a multi-specialty clinic space for general surgery, ear nose and throat, urology, orthopedics and pediatrics.
