CALDWELL W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint, between May 21 and October 22, an officer used a source willing to cooperate under the direction and supervision of the trooper to purchase six amounts of cocaine from William Lawrence Edmond. This occurred in the vicinity of Caldwell in Greenbrier County.

It should be noted that the trooper did get an order authorizing electronic interception to make controlled drug purchases from Edmonds’ residence. Reportedly, these purchases were caught on audio and video by the cooperative source during the transactions.

The trooper asked the magistrate court in Greenbrier County to charge Edmond with six counts of delivery of a Schedule 2 substance (cocaine) based on the information contained in the criminal complaint.

Edmond was arrested and, at the time of publishing, is incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail with bail set at $20,000.
