LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) — Experience Greenbrier Valley invites local tourism businesses to attend Rise and Shine: Amplifying Your Online Visibility on October 23 at 8:30 a.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center. The breakfast session introduces Destination Optimization, a new initiative in partnership with the West Virginia Department of Tourism designed to strengthen the Greenbrier Valley’s digital presence by enhancing our businesses’ online visibility.

The Destination Optimization program helps tourism-related businesses appear more prominently on Google, TripAdvisor, and emerging AI-powered travel tools. By improving the accuracy, consistency and engagement of business listings, the initiative helps visitors easily discover and connect with Greenbrier Valley’s lodging, dining, attractions and experiences.

“Digital visibility is one of the most powerful tools we have to attract visitors,” said Kara D. Dense, President and CEO of Experience Greenbrier Valley. “This program takes the guesswork out of online management, helping our partners get found more easily, while showcasing the best of what the Greenbrier Valley has to offer.”

During the breakfast session, attendees will learn how the Destination Optimization program works, including benefits for their individual businesses, and what opportunities are available to take an active role in managing their digital presence.

When: 8:30 a.m., October 23
