Town Of Rupert Will Hold A Hearing Before The Final Vote On A Proposed Ordinance, The Principal Object Of Which Is The Increase Of Water Rates For Customers

NOTICE

TOWN OF RUPERT

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Rupert, a municipal corporation, will hold a hearing before the final vote on a proposed ordinance, the principal object of which is the increase of water rates for customers of the water system operated by the Town of Rupert.  The title of such ordinance is “Ordinance No. 38 – An Ordinance for the Change of Rates for the Town of Rupert Municipally Operated Waterworks”. 

The final vote on adoption of said proposed ordinance shall be held at the Rupert Town Hall of the Town of Rupert, 528 Nicholas Street, Rupert, West Virginia on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at six o’clock (6:00 p.m.).  Interested parties may appear and be heard at such time with respect to the passage of the proposed ordinance.  Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Water Billing Office, Town Hall, Rupert, West Virginia.
