WILLIAMSBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – In early 2025, Levi Hertzler launched Roaring Creek Sheds LLC offering custom Amish built storage sheds, garages and greenhouses. Located in Williamsburg, this small business is garnering big interest in the community. “There’s been a lot of support,” says Hertzler. “We did this in Maryland, and I want to do it here in West Virginia too.”
While Hertzler admits that most people will use these buildings for storage, he recognizes the growing interest in tiny homes as a possible alternative. “I haven’t done any so far, but I’ve thought about it,” Hertzler said. With the cost of traditional housing being unaffordable for many, buildings converted into tiny houses have experienced a surge in popularity.
