Greenbrier County Republican Club to Resume Monthly Meetings

GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – After taking a break to run their vendor booth at the State Fair of West Virginia, the Greenbrier County Republican Club will resume its monthly meetings on September 4, the first Thursday of the month, at 6:30 p.m. at Cook’s Country Kitchen at Hart’s Run.

The program will be a presentation by Jeff Bryant, the Greenbrier County Superintendent of Schools.. Bryant will be discussing the school’s financial position, the averted closing of Crichton grade school and the effect of private schools on public school attendance and finances.

The recipients of the first Republican Club Scholarship Fund will be announced.

The financial report on the booth at the fair will be presented, as well as plans for the annual Christmas dinner.

The public is invited, and attendees are encouraged to come early to enjoy dinner in Cook’s County Kitchen’s dining room prior to the meeting.
