WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – WV Helping Hands, a local 501-c3 organization, held its 5th annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 26, at Valley View Country Club in White Sulphur Springs. The tournament was a great success with 10 teams and 35 hole sponsors. Lunch was provided by Kroger in Ronceverte WV. Door Prizes were provided by Valley View County Club, Blue Moon Bagels, State Fair of West Virginia and Taylors automotive.
The Winning team finished 12 under par and consisted of Chance Wagner, Rylan Vaughn, Lydia Baker and Skeeter Hanna. Thanks to everyone who volunteered and supported this fundraising effort.
WV Helping Hands is working to develop programs to help the homeless and struggling members of our community. In addition, they have a Thrift Store at 8706 Seneca Trail South.
