RONCEVERTE, W.Va. (WVDN) – The lobby of Ronceverte City Hall is closed to the public today due to “current and ongoing safety concerns for City Hall staff,” according to an announcement from the official City of Ronceverte Facebook page.
Residents needing to drop off utility payments are advised to use the city’s drop box. For cash payments requiring entry into the building, individuals are asked to call 304-647-5455 in advance or knock on the main door upon arrival.
For all other inquiries or city business, residents should call 304-647-5455 to schedule an appointment.
City officials acknowledged the inconvenience, stating, “We understand this is not ideal; however, the safety of our employees is of utmost importance to us and we must act accordingly.”
The city expressed appreciation for the public’s patience and understanding during this time.
