MILTON W.Va. (WVDN) – Searching for the perfect place to have a wedding, but cannot decide on what or where is the most important to you?

Look no further.

Mountain Top Memories, a rather new venue in Milton, WV has everything you need and more.

Having just opened in April of 2025, Summer and Brandon Drake put their heart and soul into building MTM for about four years. It was originally destined to be a hunting camp for Brandon, but things changed quickly once Summer realized her dream was a legit possibility.

“What started out as a hunting camp for Brandon, turned quickly into a bigger project that stemmed from my dream of owning a wedding venue,” Summer said.

“Brandon took a little convincing but when we discovered how few venues were in the area and how many brides were looking for a venue, he was right on board,” she added.

The venue features a 1600 square foot, 3 bed, 2.5 bath home that can sleep more than six people easily, with a make-up room and a bridal suite with a second-floor covered deck with breathtaking views, and fully equipped kitchen.

It also has a very nice open floor plan downstairs with an 85-inch tv with surround sound, a first-floor covered deck, and also a back with a grill, patio set, and a hot tub to relax in.

There is also a groomsman cabin, 250 square foot cabin with a half bath and a pool table/ping pong table combo, an arcade system, TV, and provides a nice refuge for the guys while they wait.

After the wedding, guests can make their way to the reception area, climate-controlled barn with approximately 2500 square feet of space for your reception and it comes equipped with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and its own sound system for flexibility.

Summer described the outdoor area as well where the wedding happens and the views do too.

“The ceremony space is directly outside the reception barn and offers a beautiful setting for your ceremony. There are also two large fire pit areas to enjoy with friends and family during your stay,” she explained.

The goal and the mission for Mountain Top Memories is simple.

“Our goal at MTM is to help couples and their families have a relaxing and unforgettable experience for their wedding weekend,” Summer said.

Summer and Brandon have three children: Reagan, Henson, and Logan who Summer says, “are our reason for everything we do.”

MTM offers four different packages:

– Diamond Package: $7500–Full use of property Thursday 4pm – Sunday 4pm. Extra time to decorate, clean up, and relax in between.

– Emerald Package: $6500– Full Use of property Friday 11am – Sunday 11am

– Sapphire Package: $5500– Full use of property Friday 12pm – Saturday 10pm

– Ruby Package: $3500– Day of event only 10am – 10pm. One additional hour allotted for clean up
