Kitty, as she was known to all her friends and family, was 90 years old. She was the daughter of Hampton Ambrose Hodges and Marjorie Louise (Jarrett) Hodges and was married to Norman Ray Loudermilk, who passed away in 2012.

Kitty’s life was distinguished by an infectious energy, creativity, enthusiasm, and optimism. She was an amateur poet, graduate and former secretary of Lewisburg High School, and a lifelong resident of Greenbrier County. Kitty and Norman were married at the United Methodist Church in Lewisburg in June 1953. She held a BA in Liberal Arts from Bluefield State College and retired from a career at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she was posted at the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, WV.
