GREENSBORO, NC- This past weekend with the temperatures creeping up in the 90’s, Greenbrier East track star Annie Whited shook it all off her shoulders and competed in the Adidas Track Nationals in Greensboro, NC at North Carolina A&T State University.

All Whited did was set a new PR of 12.19 in the 100m, a time that also broke the Greenbrier East school record which Whited is familiar with doing over the last few months. Overall, she finished in 11th place out 104 runners.

She did not set a PR in the 400 but came back out on Sunday afternoon and placed in the top 15 in the 200m, an event in which she holds the school record as well.

Whited represented Greenbrier County with not just talent, but also class, and will once again come together with her teammates next year in what should be one of the best girls’ track teams in recent memory.
