GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – Greenbrier County Schools announces its sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.
Breakfast and Lunch is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.
Meals will be served at the following sites:
Alderson Elementary, Rainelle Elementary, and White Sulphur Springs Elementary.
Meals will be provided from 8-8:30 a.m. for breakfast and lunch at 11:30-12 starting June 16 through July 25. Monday through Friday.
Lewisburg Elementary and Rupert Elementary meals will be provided at 8-8:30 a.m. for breakfast and lunch at 11:30-12 starting June 23 through July 24, Monday through Thursday.
No school on June 19, Juneteenth
No school on June 20, WV Day
No school on July 4, Independence Day
Limited meals will be provided at Alderson Farmer’s Market starting June 17-July 22, Tuesdays only.
We will be operating the following sites for enrolled kids ONLY:
Carnegie Hall: AM and PM snacks July 11-July 18 Monday-Friday.
Greenbrier State Forest (Scout Day camp): AM and PM snacks July14-17.
A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months. Remember, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Vacation!
