Three arrested after drug investigation in Pecksmill

Pecksmill, W.Va. (WVDN) – On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Trooper J.T. Kitts, along with several members of the Logan and Madison Detachments, responded to a residence on Stable Branch Road in the community of Pecks Mill. Troopers were executing a search warrant from a drug investigation. Preliminary investigation found large amounts of suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Meth. These Troopers were also able to locate an AR-15 style rifle within the residence. Jessica Riffe, 43, of Pecksmill, WV, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Cocaine, Meth and Conspiracy. Taylen Brown, 24, of Akron, OH, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Cocaine, Meth, and Conspiracy. Jaquan Amos, 24, of Akron, OH, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Cocaine, Meth, Conspiracy, and Prohibited Person. All three individuals were transported to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
