FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – The Fairlea ARP Church is making ready for its third annual Creative Arts Camp. Children, ages rising kindergarten through rising 8th grade, will participate in the Creative Arts Camp, beginning June 3-6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Church building.
The Camp invites children to select two classes from six different classes, which will be offered during two class periods each evening. The final evening on Friday will be the participants’ “show and tell” along with a meal for the whole family. The fee for this experience is $15 per child, or $30 per family, and includes all materials, a specially designed T-shirt for their experience and the family dinner.
Classes to be offered for K-3rd grades will include clay sculpting, painting and arts and crafts. Classes for 4th to 8th grades are woodworking, ukulele and drawing.
The Fairlea ARP Church is located on Rt. 219 Northbound (Seneca Trail S.), at 9364 Seneca Trail South, across the street from the Livestock entrance to the Fairgrounds. Please use the stairway to the Sanctuary door to enter. Children will be guided to their classrooms by those helping with the arts camp.
Registration is underway now and should be completed by May 23. Registration is done at this website: www.arpchurchfairlea.org.
