QUINWOOD W.Va. (WVDN) – Two people were arrested in Greenbrier County on April 8 after police executed a search warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation. Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement:
“On Tuesday, April 8, members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s SWAT team executed a search warrant on behalf of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in the Quinwood area of Greenbrier County. The search warrant was gained after a joint investigation between the Task Force, Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, and the West Virginia State Police. Justin Rich, age 34, of Quinwood, was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Rich had outstanding warrants for delivery of a controlled substance. From information gained during the search warrant investigators were able to obtain a second search warrant for a residence in the Orient Hill area of Greenbrier County. The SWAT team initiated a second search warrant at that residence, and Ellis Wilson, age 49 of Orient Hill, was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Wilson was taken into custody for Possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance and prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Both men were arraigned by a Greenbrier County Magistrate and transported to Southern Regional Jail. Sheriff Baker appreciates all the hard work of all agencies and officers involved.”
