CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — The West Virginia Small Business Development Center announces Will Miller as the new State Director.
Miller previously had served as the agency’s acting director after the departure of former Director Steve Johnson. Prior to that, he was Deputy Director for the WV SBDC in the Charleston office. While in this position, he became a Certified Business Advisor through Kent State University.
“I am excited for this opportunity,” Miller said. “The WVSBDC has an amazing team, and I am honored to lead them. It is a great feeling to help a West Virginia entrepreneur realize their dreams, and I am thrilled to be a part of that.”
Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from West Virginia University. He has worked in sales, marketing and management for small businesses here in the Mountain State and in the DC Metro area. Prior to Miller’s time with the SBDC, he worked for the West Virginia State Division of Tourism.
Miller is a native West Virginian and has a passion for travel and whitewater rafting in his free time.
