GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – A Comprehensive Plan is a community’s expression of its goals and aspirations with regard to land use patterns and community assets. Greenbrier County last updated its Comprehensive Plan in October of 2014, which can be viewed here: https://greenbriercounty.net/comp-plan/
For the purpose of updating the Comprehensive Plan in 2025, the Greenbrier County Planning Commission has launched a community survey. Public participation through the community survey is how the community can express its goals and aspirations. Participation can be completely anonymous. Once information is collected from the surveys, public meetings will be held to announce the results and provide additional input opportunities.
The public is encouraged to participate by accessing the community survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GreenbrierCountyCompPlanSurvey
Questions about the Comprehensive Plan and the process of adoption can be directed to the Greenbrier County Planning Commission by contacting the Planning & Permits Office at 304-6476689.
