WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – Celebrate Valentine’s Day with creativity at a free Printmaking Workshop on Tuesday, February 4th, from 4:00–6:00 PM at the White Sulphur Springs Public Library. Hosted by Hazy’s Harvest local printmaker Caroline Hanson Hertko, this hands-on event invites participants to create their own hand-printed Valentine’s cards using traditional printmaking techniques.
Designed for all skill levels, the workshop will guide attendees through the process of carving, inking, and printing unique designs. Whether crafting a special card for a loved one or exploring printmaking for the first time, this event offers a fun and creative way to celebrate the season.
Caroline Hanson Hertko is a White Sulphur Springs community member and printmaker dedicated to making art accessible through her company, Hazy’s Harvest. Her work is rooted in traditional printmaking methods, including carving, hand-printing, and digital design. She is also the creator of mini print vending machines, which distribute affordable, hand-printed artwork. Currently, her vending machines are located at The Wild Bean in Lewisburg and Rivertown in Marlinton, offering unique and original prints to the public.
