Lewisburg Mayor Beverly White swears in new city patrolman Sheldon Simmons for the Lewisburg Police Department. Simmons said he hopes to have a long career with the department and retire one day from the agency.
“This is a great department and a great place to work,” Simmons said. Lewisburg Deputy Chief J.A. Vance said that the department was excited to have Simmons join the force and that he came highly recommended from his previous employers.
