SUMMERSVILLE- It did not take long for the EGMS Lady Knights basketball team to recuperate from the Christmas holiday as they traveled to Summersville on Thursday, Dec. 26 and competed in the Winter Classic against George Washington Middle School.
The Knights controlled the action from the opening whistle until the final buzzer and took home an impressive 37-15 victory.
Karrington Knowlton was named the ‘Winter Classic player of the game’ following her 10-point day which led EGMS.
EGMS coach Dawn McClure was extremely proud of her team today.
