OAK HILL W.Va. (WVDN) – A man was arrested after allegedly threatening Department of Human Services employees. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:

“On Friday, December 13, 2024, at approximately 4:00 pm, the suspect, Jason Rice, contacted the DoHS (Department of Human Services) Oak Hill Office, in regard to them taking his children. The suspect threatened bodily harm to the employees and damage to the property, resulting in the DoHS going on lockdown. TFC J.D. Morton responded and took the initial complaint from DoHS employees. TFC A.E. Roberts and TFC Morton then located and arrested the suspect without incident, charging him with terroristic threats.”
