CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — With the holiday season in full swing, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) is reminding hunters, anglers and nature enthusiasts to order their 2025 West Virginia Wildlife Calendar by Dec. 15 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.
This year’s calendar marks the 40th anniversary of the WVDNR’s popular publication, which features stunning paintings of West Virginia wildlife, key hunting and fishing dates, peak wildlife activity times, and articles to inspire outdoor adventures in 2025.
“The West Virginia Wildlife Calendar isn’t just a beautiful addition to any home or office, it’s also a meaningful gift for anyone who loves our state’s natural beauty,” said WVDNR Director Brett McMillion. “By ordering now, you’ll ensure your gift arrives in time to be part of someone’s holiday traditions.”
Calendars are $15 each and can be purchased online at WVdnr.gov/wildlife-calendar. Calendars are also available at select stores statewide, but supplies are limited and tend to sell out quickly during the holiday season.
For those seeking more gift ideas for the outdoor enthusiasts on their list, the WVDNR’s Gift the Outdoors promotion offers additional options, including:
-
WVDNR Gift Certificates: These can be used to purchase licenses, stamps and other hunting and fishing privileges.
-
West Virginia Lifetime Licenses: A timeless gift for children, grandchildren and adults alike, providing a lifetime of hunting and fishing adventures.
-
Wonderful West Virginia Magazine Subscriptions: Celebrate West Virginia’s beauty with immersive stories and stunning photography.
