LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Local homeschool group to hold second annual cultural fair, Christmas Around the World, community fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Faith Community Co-op (FCC) is a local homeschool group serving Greenbrier and surrounding counties for the past six years. FCC has classes for preschool through high school, with over 75 children attending each week.
Their annual fundraiser is a fun event that the students put great effort into learning about the countries that their booth represents, creating foods from that country, and decorating each booth accordingly. This year there are to be 14 countries represented from Canada serving maple treats to Germany serving bratwurst.
Tasting tickets will be sold at the door for $1 apiece. They can be used to purchase savory and sweet tastes from each country represented.
This event will be held at the Rhema Christian Center Life Center, 3584 Davis Stuart Road, Lewisburg, on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Come out to support this impressive group from the community and enjoy their culinary talents.
