Everette Wright
Everette Lewis Wright, 73, of Caldwell, died Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his residence.
Everette was born May 9, 1951, in Clifton Forge, a son of the late Lewis Bertram Wright and Mary Lou Kisner Johnston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Jane Vaughn and Jathina Hinkle.
Mr. Wright worked as a supervisor for Slurry Pavers, Inc. for many years and was a member of IHRA drag racing association.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Wright and Luther Wright, both of Caldwell, WV; three daughters, Betty Lou (Joe) Foster, of Salt Sulphur, WV, Eve Wright, and Mary (Skyler) Thompson, both of Odessa, MO; six grandchildren, Autumn Atwell, Zack Wright, Sierrah Wright, Luther Wright, Jr., Lila Wright, and Steele Thompson; two sisters, Linda Wheatley and Leona (Kenny) Alvis; and one brother, Harold Wright.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Harold Wright officiating. The family will receive their friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
