RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – American Legion Greenbrier Post 26 Ronceverte, would like to salute the following businesses/establishments for their patriotic endeavor of displaying the American Flag at their place of business.
Legion officials said, “A monumental election has just been completed and Veteran’s Day is approaching. It is a pleasurable experience to see ‘Ole Glory’ weaving in the daily breezes as you pass through the Fairlea and Ronceverte communities. The American flag symbolizes a country dedicated to ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave,’ and a country dedicated to the people within its boundaries no matter their ethnicity, religion or gender.”
Each business listed in this article will soon receive a visit from an American Legion Greenbrier Post 26 representative with a certificate of appreciation for displaying their patriotic sympathies.
Within Fairlea: Greenbrier Motors, 84 Lumber, Westlakin Building, IGA, WV State Fairgrounds, Greenbrier East High School, CAMC Greenbrier Memorial Hospital Center, Kroger’s at Fairlea, Truist Bank and Wendy’s.
Within the Ronceverte community: Freedom AGT Energy, Peoples Bank, US Post Office on Edgar Ave., Mountain Mamma, West Virginia Drug Testing Lab, Sportsman Tavern, Primitive Goods West Virginia, Ronceverte Police Station, Rhema Christian Center, Ronceverte Elementary School and the Health Care Center.
Officials said, “As you drive through these areas make note of each business and salute their patriotism.” American Legion Greenbrier Post 26 encourages each and every business to dedicate an area to display the great country’s flag and even the West Virginia State flag.
