LINDSIDE- After another good season on the grass, the James Monroe Mavericks football team finished 7-3 and snuck into the state playoffs.

The Mavericks, the 14th seed will travel to Independence to take on the 3rd-seeded Patriots this Friday evening, Nov. 15 at 7:00 PM.

 

The full Class AA matchups are as follows:

No. 16 Lincoln (3-7) at No. 1 Frankfort (10-0) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

No. 15 Moorefield (4-6) at No. 2 Roane County (10-0) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

No. 14 James Monroe (7-3) at No. 3 Independence (6-3) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

No. 13 Clay County (7-3) at No. 4 Williamstown (8-2) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

No. 12 Chapmanville (5-5) at No. 5 Wheeling Central (8-2) – Saturday, November 16 at 12:30 p.m.

No. 11 Nicholas County (6-4) at No. 6 Philip Barbour (7-3) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

No. 10 South Harrison (8-2) at No. 7 Wayne (6-4) – Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m.
