CHARLESTON W.Va. (WVDN) – Three individuals were arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Charleston. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:
“On Thursday, Oct. 28, 2024, Trooper A.A. Toler was on routine road patrol on Randolph Street in Charleston, West Virginia. Trooper Toler observed an orange Mitsubishi Mirage with an expired registration and initiated a traffic stop.
“Trooper Toler detected a strong odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. After a brief investigation, Trooper Toler seized a substantial amount of marijuana and a gun from the vehicle.
“32-year-old Richard Wilmore of Charleston, WV, was charged with possession with intent to deliver. 43-year-old Kimberly Barker of Dunbar, WV, was charged with possession of marijuana. 34-year-old Cory Lucas of Dunbar was arrested on warrants for possession with intent to deliver. All three subjects were processed and released on Personal Recognizance Bonds by a Kanawha County Magistrate. The status of this investigation is ongoing.”
