LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – In August 2024, the Longanacre family became the new owners of Lewisburg Nutrition Club. Along with her husband and two children, Sarah Longanacre fell in love with the area and decided to make the move from Florida nearly a decade ago.  With them came 15 years of restaurant experience from the Sunshine State, which they were eager to share with the picturesque town of Lewisburg. “We are family-run, and this is a great spot with a great product,” Sarah says. “I wanted to take over and provide something healthy to Greenbrier County. Healthy food in a fast food way.”

Under its new ownership, Lewisburg Nutrition Club has undergone some big changes. “We’ve added a bunch of new menu items,” Sarah admits. “We have caffeine-free beverages, protein bowls, overnight oats and we are releasing hot protein mini donuts next week.” In addition, customers will find a menu stacked with meal replacement shakes, teas, protein iced coffee and even a pup cup for your four-legged friend.  Local honey and farm-fresh eggs can also be purchased in-store.

With so many items on the menu, it can be difficult to choose just one. Sarah Longanacre is quick to admit that her personal favorite is the Black Widow, which is a Super Specialty Tea. It features a combination of lime, grape and wild berry brew. “It’s got lots of energy and protein, she says. “Plus, it’s my favorite color – purple. It was a Drink of The Week that turned into a regular menu item.”

For customers who are craving a specific item but are either at work or just cannot make it to the store, Lewisburg Nutrition Club will deliver. “We currently deliver on Wednesday, but we are expanding that in the next few weeks to be three days a week,” Longanacre says. Delivery areas include Lewisburg, Maxwelton, Fairlea, Ronceverte and White Sulphur Springs. There is no delivery fee, but there is a three-drink minimum.

When asked if she would like to share a message with customers, Longanacre didn’t hesitate to express her thanks to all who have supported her new endeavor. “I appreciate everyone that comes in here every day. I really do,” she says with a tone of gratitude in her voice. “I’m very happy to be a part of this community and really appreciate their support. When you come in here, you’re going to get a smile and you are going to walk out feeling good.”

Lewisburg Nutrition Club is located in the plaza between Dollar General and Enterprise, on 3474 Jefferson St. N. in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closed on Sunday.

For more information call 681-318-3147. You can find them on social media by searching for Lewisburg Nutrition on Facebook.
