WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – After narrowly avoiding auction in August, the Greenbrier Hotel is once again scheduled to be sold on Oct. 25, according to a legal notice submitted to The West Virginia Daily News. The document states that the debt causing this auction attempt is with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.
The public auction is scheduled for Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. and will be held at the front door of the Greenbrier County Courthouse. According to the legal notice, the sale is for 60.5 acres more or less and includes the main entrance to the Greenbrier Hotel. Additionally, the document states that all “improvements and adjacent rights, fixtures, personal property and equipment, rents, damage rights, permits for land, permits for the other property rights and the ancillary rights” are included.
The West Virginia Daily News will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates to the public as they become available.
