LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – FRIDAY, OCT. 4: CARNEGIE HALL ARTWALK – Join Carnegie Hall for the Carnegie Hall Artwalk on Friday, Oct. 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., featuring new exhibits by Robert Singleton, Meredith Young, and the West Virginia Watercolor Society. The event will also feature live music, refreshments, and a cash bar. The Carnegie Hall Artwalk is free and open to the public.

SUNDAY, OCT. 6: CLUB CARNEGIE – Join Carnegie Hall for the Mountain Stage’s Club Carnegie in the Board Room from 6 to 6:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6. Free admission. Cash bar and snacks are available.

SUNDAY, OCT. 6: MOUNTAIN STAGE WITH HOST KATHY MATTEA – Mainstage Performance on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. featuring Mountain Stage with host Kathy Mattea. Guest artists include the American Patchwork Quartet, Kyshona, The Brother Brothers, Stephanie Lambring, and more. Tickets start at $32/adult and $20/student.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12: TASTE OF OUR TOWN FESTIVAL (TOOT) – The 38th annual Taste of Our Towns (TOOT) festival takes place Saturday, Oct. 12, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Thousands of residents and visitors from across the region gather on the streets of historic downtown Lewisburg to sample delicious food from over 50 vendors.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12: TOOT AFTER-PARTY – TOOT continues from 4–8 p.m. with an outdoor concert on Church Street featuring The Davisson Brothers Band at 6 p.m., preceded by a local opener beginning at 5 p.m. Food trucks will be set up until 8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Carnegie Hall’s art education and performance programming. All ages are welcome.

ROTATING GALLERIES:

OLD STONE ROOM GALLERY – Jan Heath Exhibit. The exhibit runs through the end of September.

MUSEUM GALLERY –Jessie Thornton and Nanette Seligman Exhibit. The exhibit runs through the end of September.

LOBBY GALLERY –Kathleen DeRouen Exhibit. The exhibit runs through the end of September.

BOARD ROOM GALLERY – TBA

PERMANENT EXHIBIT:

ARTS FROM THE ASHES: THE HISTORY OF CARNEGIE HALL – The exhibit features memorabilia, photographs, artifacts and more of Carnegie Hall since its construction in 1901.  Located on the second floor. Free admission.
