Joyce Fay Crookshanks
Joyce Fay Crookshanks, 82, of Lewisburg, formerly of Crawley, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, after a long illness.
Born September 14, 1941, at Frankford, she was a daughter of the late Roy Clyde Mullins and Myrtle Fay Hammonds Mullins.
Joyce was employed at the former Kellwood Corporation at Maxwelton, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dale Crookshanks, Sr.; two daughters, Patricia Leech and Carol Crookshanks; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Crookshanks; a grandson, Harry Dale Crookshanks, III; and a sister, Daphene Cornwell.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Anderson (Gene) of Lewisburg; two sons, Dale Crookshanks of Rainelle and Scott Crookshanks of Crawley; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet White, Jean Johnson, Caroline Robinson, Marlene Zimmerman, and Judy Quick; and brothers, Roy Hugh Mullins, Jr., Houston Mullins, and Cecil Mullins.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, with Staci Marie Cornwell officiating. There will be no visitation.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy be made to Peyton Hospice House or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
